Artro-Alt-Plus (PVB 6) from the Di Leo Herbal Laboratory is a food supplement formulated to support joint function. This product takes advantage of the beneficial properties of Meadowsweet, which helps the joints, and of Parietaria and Erica, which contribute to the drainage of body fluids. Additionally, Linden is included for its aid in relaxation.
Ingredients : Alcohol, Water, extracts of: PARIETARIA (Parietaria officinalis L.) aerial part, LIME TREE (Tilia platyphyllos Scopoli) bark, HEATHER (Calluna vulgaris Hull.) flowering plant, MEADLAND (Filipendula ulmaria Max.) flowering tops.
Keywords : osteo-articular disorders, rheumatism.
Characteristics : the treatment of arthrosis must take into account a fact: arthrosis is a degenerative disease of the joints which occurs in old age and is mainly linked to the wear and tear of the articular cartilage; it is aggravated by malformations and obesity which subject the joints to excessive strain and which create overloads on certain joint surfaces, micro and macro traumas, frequent endocrine disorders, etc.; it is often also linked to emotional events that cause a lack of muscle relaxation and poor tissue nourishment or poor drainage. To alleviate the disorders of this disease it is useful to evaluate the emotional, hormonal, nutritional, circulatory, nervous or other imbalance present in the person. The plants present in this preparation must therefore perform an antirheumatic, anti-inflammatory, draining function: FILIPENDULA ULMARIA: main active ingredients are the gaultherina glucoside, which breaks down under the action of the gaultherase enzyme into glucose, methyl salicylate and ac. salicylic; both have an anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic and diuretic action. CALLUNA VULGARIS: main active ingredients arbutin and flavonoids with antirheumatic and disinfectant action of the urinary tract. PARIETARIA OFFICINALIS: main active ingredients mucilage, potassium nitrate and flavonoids which have a diuretic and antirheumatic action. Another no less important function is that linked to the reduction of nervous tension which induces stiffening of the muscles, which can cause compression and irritation of the nerves around the arthritic bones with consequent local pain or pain in other nearby structures. Another aim to set is to improve circulation in the organs involved in order to increase the supply of nutrients to the tissues and therefore reduce degenerative phenomena. These actions are carried out by TILIA PLATYPHYLLOS which has as its main active ingredients the glucoside tiliacin and the ethereal oil farfalle which have an antispasmodic and sedative action on the central nervous system; other functions linked to Tilia.
